Re:Test helps Ford Arizona Proving Ground Install a State-Of-The-Art System

Ford engineers hired Nigel Linden to help them with the installation and commissioning of a new state-of-the-art buzz squeak and rattle (BSR)  test facility in Yucca Arizona. The system is a first of a kind, with many innovative proprietary features.

The prime contract for the facility was awarded to Ransco, a division of Despatch Industries, who in turn contracted with IST for the four poster (4 post road simulator). Nigel was hired directly by Ford to oversee the progress of the project.

Nigel worked with Ford to review the specifications of the system, develop the acceptance testing protocol,  oversee the construction, and manage the system acceptance testing.

The construction phase of the project began in the Summer of 2004, and was completed February 2005. Thanks to a great team, the project was a complete success.
