Re:Test Builds Drive Files for Johnson Controls
Johnson Controls (JCI) in Cottondale Alabama is building automotive seats for new vehicles. To ensure consistent quality, these seats require comprehensive Buzz, Squeak and Rattle (BSR) testing in their plant. JCI hired Nigel Linden to develop drive files for their two-channel pitch table. Nigel brought in all the data acquisition and Remote Parameter Control® (RPC®) equipment, collected data at their client's proving ground, edited the data and prepared drive files. These files were then downloaded to the customer's FlexTest II system and profiles were built for their production seat buzz squeak and rattle (BSR) quality control seat testing . With this new drive file development, JCI is able to accurately reproduce their client's proving ground on all the automotive seat applications for the various vehicle types, and hear any buzz squeak and rattle (BSR) issues before their client does.
