This is the first time I have done this, how do I purchase tickets for a show?

If this is your first time, enter your email, and leave the password field blank. If you have worked with Applause, or if you are a member of our family, your email might already be in the system. If it is, we will email you a password to use. Whether you log in, or are a first time user, you will be taken to a screen where you can select the show you are interested in. You might have to click a link that says: Reserve Seats and Change Seat Assignments to get there. Some shows have assigned seats. If this is the case, simply check off the seats you would like. If it is open seating, you enter the number of seats you need. Click the continue button to go to the next screen and complete your payment. Do not reserve seats in multiple shows at a time, the continue button only operates on the current show. Your choices are not registered until you click continue.

Your email will also identify if you are a member, and you will receive your member privileges automatically. If you are a member, and you don't see discounted tickets, you should check with us to be sure we have the right email in the system for you.

Once you get to the next screen, your reservations are locked for two hours, to allow you time to complete payment (or call your friends!).

You will need to enter a password to complete the payment. This, along with your email address becomes the ID you will use to log in and print your tickets. If we emailed you a password, this is your opportunity to change it to something you can remember.

Yes! Our system keeps track of your membership status. Be sure to use the same email that is on file for you. When you get to the payment screen, if you are entitled to complementary tickets, they will be automatically assigned. You will also be able to purchase additional tickets at a discount. If you do not see your membership status displayed, and if the system is not giving you discounted tickets (it will be obvious), then either the email you entered does not match our records, or your membership has lapsed. Contact us to find out.

When can I purchase tickets for a show?

Tickets for each show typically become available two months before the show opens. You can reserve and purchase tickets up to two hours before curtain. Once this time has expired, you can usually purchase tickets at the door. A limited number of door sales will be available even for sold out shows. However, come early!

How do I get my tickets?

Follow  the instructions under "how do I purchase tickets for a show?". Once you have selected the ticket type (Adult, Student/Senior or Coupon) and you have entered your address information you will be taken to PayPal to complete your payment. Once your payment is complete, you can return to the ticketing system and print your tickets. Make sure you retain your email address and password because they will let you back into the system.

What should I bring to the show?

The only thing you need to bring is your ticket(s). This is not your PayPal receipt. Select Print Tickets from the top level menu after you log in. If you forget to print your tickets, they will be at will-call. Bring your ID. If you printed them at any time, we will not have them, so be sure to print them again if they are lost, and bring them with you. Tickets can be printed as many times as you like.

I printed my tickets and lost them, what do I do?

Simply log in with your email and password, and select Print Tickets You can print your tickets as many times as you like.

I want to move my reservations to a different show. How can I do that?

You can move your reservations to a different performance of a show at any time, but not between different productions, and only as long as you have not printed your tickets. Once your tickets are printed, your reservation is locked. To move your reservations, follow these instructions:

Log in to the ticket reservation system with your email address and password. Select Reserve Seats and Change Seat Assignments

Select the show that contains your current reservation. If your tickets have not been printed, your seats will show up as check marks for assigned seating shows, or a number in the box for open seating shows.  If the seats show up as green boxes (assigned) or the count is zero (open), you have printed your tickets, and your reservation cannot be changed. Remove the seats (assigned), or reduce the ticket count by the number of seats you want to move (open).

Click Continue, and move to the next screen.

Click Continue again.

Click  Reserve Seats and Change Seat Assignments again. Select the show that you want to move your seats to. Pick your new seats (assigned), or enter the number in the box (open). If you want to add extra tickets you can do that.

Click continue. If you did not add new seats, click continue again and you are done. If you did add new seats, select the ticket type and complete your purchase.

Are tickets refundable?

No, all sales are final. You can move your reservations to a different performance of a show at any time, but not between different productions, and only as long as you have not printed your tickets. Once your tickets are printed, your reservation is locked.

Email us at tickets@applausecommunitytheatre.com if you are having problems.

Thank you, and enjoy the show!
