Re:Test Engineers can help you with Structural Test Design.

Designing a structural test requires a significant amount of experience, especially if the test article is a structure, assembly or component with complex geometry and multiple loading axes. Many different parameters are used to distil the operating environment into a lab test that provides accurate information as inexpensively and as quickly as possible. The process begins with a complete analysis of the environment via Finite Element (FE) models, free-body diagrams or  field data acquisition. The loading is then broken down into an efficient, short history (sinusoids, peak-valley-time, block profiles, random vibration control, real time simulation etc.), and the results are carefully evaluated to relate them to operating life.
