Re:Test Develops a Shock Amplifier for Weapon Simulation

Re:Test has been working with NAVSEA Crane for many years to develop a shock amplifier to simulate live firing of small arms on rifle accessories. The second generation unit mounts on the slip table of a electrodynamic shaker, and recreates the measured weapon shock profiles for fully automatic and semi automatic firing. A complete 20,000 round life test can be completed in 90 minutes. This programmable fixture closely reproduces Shock Response Spectra (SRS) on small arms accessories.
