Re:Test Develops a Shock Amplifier for Bruel and Kjaer .

Bruel and Kjaer contracted with Re:Test to help their client reproduce high g shock pulses on an electrodynamic shaker. Re:Test developed a shock amplifier that sits on the armature of the ED shaker, and increases the shocks from 50g to 4000g. This programmable fixture closely reproduces Shock Response Spectra (SRS) on small arms accessories. A paper was presented at the SAVIAC 76th Shock and Vibration Symposium. Click here to read.

" One of the projects we hired Nigel for involved measuring the impulsive response of a controlled explosion and reproducing it on a closed-loop shaker system.
